No Hassle in Hessle

18th March 2020
In the last week of normality before the entire Country shut down due to a bit of 'flu, a trip to the Humber Bridge was completed without the need for face masks or any other safety equipment.

Built in the 1980's and, at the time, the longest single span suspension bridge in the world, it connects the counties of Lincolnshire and The East Riding of Yorkshire over the River Humber.

Construction already paid for, Tolls are still, however, being charged at the rate of £1.50 a crossing. It is free for motorcycles and pedestrians, a worrying amount of the latter only intend to make it half way across.

As evidenced by the exit point marked with a cross on the foreshore.
