A few days in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Went to have a look around the Castle and The Queen's holiday home at the Palace of Holyrood.
The Castle had a display of the Scottish Crown Jewels, which seemed to consist of a party hat, a stick and half a house brick.
The Palace had a display of the uniform and dress worn at the wedding ceremony of Prince Charles' step son and some American woman who has done a bit of acting on TV. (having already been around the block, she could at least done the planet a favour and recyled her dress from the last time).
Edinburgh seemed to be full of Canadian tourists who, to be fair, were infinitely preferable to the native Scots.
The best bit about the place were the penguins in the zoo.
